Vickie Nelson, a local watercolorist, will be featured at Aurora Gallery opening starting May 5th, 2011 through May 26th, 2011.
Vickie Nelson, a Camas painter who is nationally known for her watercolors and who is published in Splash, will be showing new work at Aurora Gallery. With the arrival of Spring, comes this showing of beautiful Spring like floral and still life paintings that wipe away the gray of Winter. Vickie, who has been painting since she was 17, has been a professional artist for many years. Teaching two workshops per year and keeping several
galleries stocked with paintings is her full-time job.
Meet the artist on First Friday (May 6th) from 5-9 pm. Artist reception and live music by Two Rivers from 6-8:30 with refreshments served. A fun free activity for all ages.
