“Cast Shadows: Pacific Northwest Plein Air Landscape” titles the show that opens at Aurora Gallery on November 6th through the 28th, 2009. Eighteen northwest painters bring the finest of plein air painting to Vancouver for this showing of local landscapes.
Portland Plein Air and Studio Painters annual show includes four of Aurora Gallery’s regular artists, and two of Clark County’s finest plein air painters: Barbara Szkutnik, and Katherine van Schoonhoven. This show provides a broad spectrum of talent and mediums giving Vancouver art lovers a high caliber showing of this renewed art style.
This show will be featured during the First Friday Art Walk November 6th from 5-9 pm, meet the artists reception 6-8 pm. Music by Two Rivers, 6-8 pm.

Gallery hours for this show are Monday -Friday 10 am to 5:30 pm and 10 -4 pm on Saturday (or by appointment).
November 11th the Gallery will be open until 7 pm for evening viewing.
