During the month of March, Aurora Gallery will be displaying a solo show by local Vancouver artist Edi Olson. Along with showing some of her original pieces, we will also by displaying some of Edi’s unique originals. Unique originals are a giclée fine art print that is personally embellished with more oil paint by the artist.
An artist by nature since the age of four, Edi has been a professional artist and art instructor for the past 32 years. Mostly a self-taught artist, Edi prefers to paint with a palette knife and then use a brush to refine and add detail. Edi has a fascination and love of ocean scenes, her main subject matter; but also enjoys painting landscapes, florals, portraits, wildlife, and architecture. She describes her style as realistic with attention to detail, light and energy within each painting.
Join us on March 6, 2020 from 5-9pm here at Aurora Gallery for the opening of this solo art show by Edi Olson. The opening will coincide with the March First Friday Art Walk. We hope to see you there!
