August 2019 First Friday Art Walk

During the month of August Aurora Gallery will be showcasing the work of two gallery artists: Melissa Gannon and Gregory Gorham. Both artists work with acrylic paint to create colorful Northwest nature scenes.

Melissa Gannon is an artist and teacher whose love of color is the driving force behind her work. Inspired by a deep appreciation of the natural world and a passion for plein air painting, she seeks to bring nature’s bounty indoors for all to enjoy.

Gregory Gorham moved to the Pacific Northwest in the mid 90’s and was instantly struck by the natural beauty of this area. He is inspired by the brilliant colors that nature provides in the trees, the ocean, and the sky. In these paintings you will find the deep ultramarines, lush greens and the golden hues of the Northwest.
